Welcome to SkiUnion’s product review section. On this part of the site we bring you independent reviews of all the gear we can get our hands on. Currently we have focused on skis and boots, but eventually hope to review everything from jackets and pants to what headphones you should be wearing in the park.
We hope you enjoy our ski reviews which were written after a week of grueling testing at the SIGB ski test in Bormio last year. We’ve got write-ups and stats on all the planks we could get our hands on, and in most cases a video from someone at the company giving an overview of the products for 2009/10. However we still want to hear from you, and would appreciate your comments/reviews on any of the product that you may have tested yourself, simply leave your thoughts using the boxes below each review. Remember, you can use the drop down bars to the right of the ski reviews to streamline your search depending on the type of ski you are looking for, the amount of money you want to spend, and your skiing level.
For the boot reviews we have enlisted the help of the boot experts at Surefoot, not just because we are a bunch of lazy ski bums, but because we have found that with boots so much depends on the shape of your feet. Therefore we figured it would probably be best to get a more objective point of view. Speaking of boots, Rory from Surefoot’s London branch wrote us a rather useful article on boots that might be worth checking out as well.
We hope you find this section useful, and please remember to add your own reviews.
