During the considerable time since we were last on snow, here at SkiUnion we’ve been mainly writing…ski reviews! Now don’t get us wrong, it is ‘great’ fun and we can’t wait to bring you our indepth guide to what to go sliding on next winter, but we are getting itchy feet for our trip to Saas Fee next week!
Now talking of itchy feet, we also plan on bringing you some pretty damn handy boot reviews, as well as guiding you through all the technical wizadry and jargon that goes with it. Unlike skis, no one provides the facility to go and physically test every pair of boots available, and this is why we have enlisted the help of Surefoot to guide us through what can often be a minefield. With 25 years in the business, 25 stores worldwide, and having fitted over 25 million pairs of boots (thats a lot of 25’s), Surefoot is now the world’s biggest and best ski boot specialty store. Their worldwide locations have a handpicked and personally trained team of boot fitting specialists, and instead of power tools and guesswork, they use precise state-of-the-art technology to deliver the best fitting, best performing boots possible…in short we are stoked to have access to their expertise!
We headed down to the London store last week to meet Rory and Leo whilst they fitted up Uk freestyler Paddy Graham with some custom orthotics (footbeds) and liners (they were kind enough to make us some orthotics too) and we are very excitied about what they can contribute to our boot guide.
Expect the new gear section to come online at the begining of October, and please check out www.surefoot.com for more details about the company and their store locations.
