It’s all over…the superfinals of this years second in-city Big Air showdown have just finished, and it’s our favourite young swedish superhero, Henrik Harlaut, who takes the title here in Berlin. Here’s how it went down.
The Finals provided some insane action which was again dominated by double cork variations. As in Zurich, it was Sammy Carlson who won the final, with the other riders follwing him into the superfinal being Jacob Wester, TJ Schiller and Henrik Harlaut. Trick of the session probably has to go to Andreas Hatveit who threw down a crazy switch 540 screamin’ seaman double grab…if this wasn’t enough to get him through to the superfinals, then you know the standard was pretty insane!

In the superfinal you had to bring a double cork 1260 to the party or you could forget it. Henrik Harlaut stuck his twice and with the cleanest landing out of everyone and came out on top. Sammy Carlson took second place and was stoked with pushing his double cork upto a 1260. His double cork 1260 mute to poke showed super style in the air, and it was only a slightly dodgy landing that denied him a Freestyle.ch and Berlin double. TJ Schiller took third, sticking his huge double 1260, and Jacob Wester almost over roatated his double cork 1260 into a 1440, and you just know that this is where the level of trickery is heading next!
