The little brother to Zeus, the Argos is another charger capable of handling all sorts of nasties out in the backcountry; avalanche debris, ice, crud etc. This ski easily competes with any of the other Big Mountain skis out there. However we can’t quite see why anyone would want a pair of these when there is the Zeus on offer. They both handle themselves equally well in all off piste terrains, except the Zeus is probably marginally better in the trees and floats better in the pow, and they are both equally bad on the piste, except with its front rocker the Zeus feels slightly less cumbersome. So basically they do the same thing, only the Zeus does it better. As we write this we have not yet been given the prices, perhaps that will explain a thing or two. Still a great ski for backcountry enthusiasts.
