Few Words Honored at the Powder Awards

Few Words documentary dedicated to freeski pioneer Candide Thovex was rewarded with an impressive number of prizes during the Powder Awards ceremony held yesterday in Park City (Utah, USA). Organized by the American eponymous ski magazine, Powder Awards celebrate every year the world’s best skiers and key actors on the freeski scene. For the first time in 2013, the event took place on opening night of the prestigious Sundance Film Festival at Park City. Candide and Few Words movie directed by Matt Pain (Process Films) and produced by Quiksilver, got 4 awards (out of 5 nominations) in the following categories: Best male performance, Best cinematography, Best Documentary and Full Throttle, the most prestigious award of the event.

We caught an interview with Candide a little while back, so if you haven’t given it a read yet, take a look here.

Few Words is now available on iTunes & quiksilver.com. You can also purchase the DVD or DVD/
Blu-Ray combo pack in Quiksilver stores.
