Freestyle.Berlin qualification day 2

The second round of the skiing big-air took place at freestyle.berlin today with another great display…mostly with double corks being the trick of choice!  This seems pretty standard now, and if you don’t have some sort of variation of this trick in your bag, then you pretty much forget it.

First place was Jacob Wester with an ‘oh-so’ stylish cork 900 true tail and a double cork 1080 high mute…it’ll be an interesting battle between him and Henrik Harlaut in the finals. Second place was Andreas Hatveit who stomped all his tricks, pullng out his double cork 1080 double mute that he did in Zurich for his technical trick, and a cork 720 reverse mute for his style round.

Third place was taken by Bobby Brown with a switch 540 japan and nose grab, followed by a sweet double cork 1080 true mute. Last to qualify for the finals was the Elias Ambühl who came second in Zurich. He pulled out a rodeo 540 japan and nose grab for his style trick, and a double cork 1080 high mute for his technical round.
