Do you think you’re pretty handy with a video camera, or have a sharp eye for a standout photo? Are you constantly on the internet uploading and plugging your footage? Do you think you could step it up and have your work splashed across action sports magazines, media or even featured on TV?

Every year Nike 6.0 offers a talented filmer or photographer a once in a lifetime opportunity – a one year contract that gives them the chance to rub shoulders with the most influential people in the action sports world. If you’re over 16, fanatical about filming and photography, then this is the gig for you. A key part of your role will be following the Nike 6.0 Team as they compete in events and comps, do photoshoots and a whole load more in 2009/2010. You’ll be filming the best riders, hanging out the best parties and meeting the best people in action sports.

We’ve made this super easy. What we’re after is a short film between 30-seconds and 3-minutes long OR between 5 and 10 of your best photos. You choose the sport… you choose the style. Grab your gear, get busy and show us you’ve got what it takes to be the 2009 Nike 6.0 Media Apprentice.

You can enter as many times as you like. The more films and photos you can upload the better.
What happens next then?
After submitting your film or photos, if our judges like the look of your stuff you go through to the next round: The Nike 6.0 Media Apprentice Bootcamp.
If you make it to the Bootcamp stage, you’ll then work on location alongside industry big wigs from your chosen sport. This work will then be judged by our panel of experts, and they will then choose the 2009/10 Nike 6.0 Media Apprentice. GOOD LUCK!
