The production of video edit and freeski films has steadily become the norm for most brands and pro skiers and is now at an all time high. As skiers we of course get super hyped on these edits. But while we all love to see what the pros get up to, how they are pushing the boundaries of freeskiing and performing tricks that year of year become more mindblowing, sometimes it is refreshing to take a step back from all that.

Delta, the new film produced by Florian Albert, does exactly that, switching its focus instead to a group of young Tyrolean amateur skiers, and from what we’ve seen from these two trailers it looks like it’s a film that’s set to be as equally inspiring. With its unique focus it offers an insight into the various aspects of freeskiing that make the sport so popular today and captures the vibe as the locals search out and utilise the best of their surrounding area, including urban sports, the backcountry, powder fields and the park.
