After a bit of umm-ing and ahh-ing, the European Freeski Open is set to return in March 2011. Europe’s premiere freeskiing comp kicking off in Laax on March 1st, here’s hoping the rider list will back up the scale of this comp! The prize purse will be US $50,000 and there will be riders from high and low hitting the slopestyle and halfpipe to grab a piece of the winning pie. Not only that but it’s being opened up to 280 spots and is being extended to 5 days worth of competition.
