As the world of free skiing continues to grow in popularity, you need to thank the characters within that world that make it so worthwhile to watch and keep involved in. It’s fair to say that free skiing has more of these character than most of the action sports world but there’s a cheeky couple of lads that are always the first names on the list when it comes to being entertaining – Kevin Rolland and Xavier Bertoni.

Kevin Rolland won gold in Winter X Games in both the US and Europe before ruining his ACL in training and that put him out for the majority of the 2011/2012 season. He’ll be back in contention for the 2012/2013 season but that’s a story for another time! Xavier Bertoni hit the skis when he was 2 years old and is also and X Games gold medallist. Together they’re a team that you don’t really want to mess with and with them both being French, you can put good money on the fact that they’ll get into some trouble.
