Last week while we were poring over the web’s mighty collection of ski crashes for our Top 10 ski crashes of all time compilation, we stumbled across one particular crash edit that we thought deserved a mention all of its own.

Hailing from an era where skiers in general managed to make themselves look pretty ridiculous regardless, this edit was already going to be funny. Add in a load of out of control crashes along to this genius soundtrack and you’ve got a classic. Look out at 0.50 for the rather overweight lady who ‘accidentally’ dives into the middle of a picnic bench full of food! And our favourite at 0.30, where the sheer terror of an approaching sledger causes a load of skiers to promptly fall to the floor screaming… although turns out one of the them definitely had reason to panic!
