The North Face Freeski Open: Day 2

Day 2 of TNF Freeski Open saw the top riders battling it out for the gold but only two riders were going to come out on top, and those riders were local lad Jossi Wells and Kim Lamarre.

As we heard from yesterday’s semi-finals, the last jump was still out of action for the finals and with the wind still being the main factor towards this, a lot of the women competitors pulled out. The male competitors also took this into consideration and were a lot more conservative with their runs.

With only 4 women in the finals it was anyone’s to win. Canadian Kim Lamarre took the gold with a clean rail run followed by a nice jump combo of 540 safety to switch 540 mute. In second place was Devin Logan and third was Rose Battersby.
