This was a ski that we liked very much. Pro model of french freeski legend Mathieu Imbert, the Cholesterone has been built with his riding preferences in mind. In other words, backcountry kickers. The width underfoot gives a stable landing platform, and the slight reverse camber means keeping the tips and tails out of the deep stuff on landings is a whole lot easier. We found these pretty solid elsewhere in the backcountry as well, and where a lot of the reverse camber B.C freestyle skis feel a bit flappy when charging, these were surprisingly good.
