This year, Teddy Berr’s pro model is a little softer and a little lighter, making it less of a big mountain charger, and more of a freestyler. This smooth ride definitely prefers the powder, and while Amplid claim in their brochure that this is a ‘Twin tip pipe and kicker beast’, we tend to be of the opinion that this is more of a backcountry specialist, personally I’m not sure I’d want to be hitting the pipe with 107mm underfoot, however if I were attempting to land switch off a thirty footer in the Engadin I’d feel happy with a pair of these strapped to my feet… well happier at least!
