Armada – Alpha 1

The Alpha 1 is one of the most innovative park skis for 2009/10. Armada have taken reverse sidecut and rocker technology that is traditionally used in powder skis, and brought it to the park. Most testers found them difficult to get on with initially, but after a few runs its was hard to get them of the things! The rocker gives the illussion of being on a much shorter ski, making spins and jibbing very easy, whilst the true length of the ski gives a stable platform for landing big kickers. Here at SkiUnion we loved them , and it seems that Jacob Wester who was instrumental in their design doesn’t mind them either!
