This is Elan’s Big Mountain charger, and while the 1111 is a short fat and friendly ski, these are a little more trim around the waist and a lot meaner. This ski will handle most terrain, and won’t buckle if the deep powder suddenly turns into cut up crud. Generally they prefer to be pushed pretty hard and at slower speeds become cumbersome and unresponsive. Where the 1111 might be the perfect companion for a CMH trip these would be the perfect partner for a trip to Valdez.
