At 98mm underfoot it might seem to many as if this ski isn’t really a backcountry ski at all, and aimed instead at the all-mountain market. However this isn’t true, and while it is pretty useabe on the piste, there is no doubt that this ski really excels when it is riding over cut up crud, or icy avalanche debris! With good edge hold and a solid feel you can blast the crappy conditions and grip on the icy steeps. If it does happen to snow, there’s a rocker at the tip to help keep you afloat until you can find the next patch of crud.
