K2 – ObSETHed

Seth Morrison’s pro model has been tweaked this year, and now has a tip and tail rocker, but still has the camber of a normal ski underfoot. This is a great combination; on the piste or hard pack, they ski like a normal ski, and feel quite maneuverable because the rockers effectively reduce their length. In the powder the rocker comes into full effect and gives the rider plenty of float. The effect of all of this is that what was quite a hardcore freeride ski has suddenly gone a bit all-mountainy, without losing any of its off-piste performance. A great ski for those looking to spend more time in the backcountry but still want to be able to get the around the whole hill.
