This is an interesting ski. With its symmetrical dimensions, it is perfect for the park, add to this a continuous rocker profile and tip and tail taper, and suddenly you have a ski that doesn’t look so out of place in the backcountry either. But how does that affect its performance in the park, we hear you ask? Pretty damn well it would seem. The rockered profile makes the effective length of the ski shorter, meaning that as a rider your 181 length ski feels like a 174, plus the reduced weight from the tapered tip and tail makes for a lower swing weight in the spins, suddenly spinning a 9 off that mogul looks possible, and we haven’t even begun to talk about what the rocker does for your buttering. This is a great park ski, that you can take confidently into the backcountry.
