New for this season, the Shogun is a a light and agile backcountry ski with slight front rocker. Testers loved it, especially when the snow was light and deep where the ski floated well, and it really loved storming through the trees where its lightness gave for great responsiveness and quick turns. We didn’t get a chance to test it in less forgiving snow, but we rekon it might not be one for charging at mach 3 through icy crust and crud.
