Once you’ve got the Fastplant 180 down, it’s time to take a look at the Fastplant 360. On the approach everything remains the same as a 180, but you just need to make your take off jump a bit more energetic. This will help you add more momentum to the jump so that you can whip your skis round quickly enough for the landing.
With the Fastplant 360 many riders grab with both hands in the snow – like Dani does in the above sequence. This has the advantage that you can push off powerfully with both hands, which will ultimately help you get the full rotation round in time for your landing.
The Fast Plant 360 is a nice one because you can always see the landing, which helps you judge the amount of momentum you need to rotate and land the trick cleanly. Once you’ve worked out timings for the 360, it will be easy enough to try this new trick out on other obstacles too.
