Thanks to PK Hunder pointing it out, we spotted this amazing video earlier on today and thought it worthy of a post.
While most one year olds are still mastering the art of walking, Rohan McClaran has been there, done that and moved on to the next activity – naturally skiing. But not skiing like you’d expect of most toddlers, which usually involves them waddling around on the flat slaloming marmots. This little dude has already progressed beyond that and is actually going through the park and literally hitting rails. He even manages to throw in a little powder drop. While he’s managed to get to grips with the more extreme side of the sport, it seems he’s still yet to figure out speed control or turning, which you can clearly see at 2.00. Control aside, if this is him at one, imagine how he’s going to be looking in ten years time? Pro skier on the cards?
The youtube video claims that it’s a new world record, but one video commenter immediately dismisses this, claiming that this title is already taken by a three months old… highly unlikely considering most three months old can’t even sit.
What’s the youngest skier you’ve come across?
