Hot from his win at the Red Bull Linecatcher 2010, we have now had confirmation from the guys who organise the Freeride World Tour, that Candide Thovex has now sealed his participation in the Russia leg of the tour in Sochi which starts on 21st January, confirming the rumours which started in our interview with Seb Michaud where it was mentioned that he would be entering the Chamonix stage of the event.

This is a huge coup for the event, by the fact that Candide is one of, if not THE most exciting skier in the world, who’s enigma like status never fails to create huge interest and fascination…epsecially since the release of the first episode of Candide Kamera which showed his skills and talent in a totally different light after he came back from a serious back injury:
