Snowpark Rally 09/10

The Snowpark Rally 09/10 kicks off today, December 15th. This is the ultimate online photo contest… well, if of course you exclude the other one that we are running on SkiUnion!

Ready – steady – go: the Snowpark Rally enters its second season and again, everyone is invited to take part! From today, the 15th of December 2009, the online photo competition has started on www.snowparkrally.com. As you will see in the video message (below), Völkl team rider, Paddy Graham sends you on the first of three missions for the winter. At the snow park of your choice, you can interpret the missions as creatively as possible, take some cool shots and upload the results to www.snowparkrally.com. Originality and wit are more important than technical photo skills! The winners of each mission will be invited to the finals at the Kitzsteinhorn and Innsbruck’s Nordkettenbahnen where they will be rewarded with many great prizes.

The first mission will end on the 17th of January, 2010. After that, the further two missions will be proclaimed one after another. An expert jury of Völkl riders and professional photographers will judge the uploaded pictures. Each mission’s winning crews will be invited to the big end-of-season Snowpark Rally finals in Austria. The skiing final will be held at Tyrol’s Nordkettenbahnen high above Innsbruck from the 2nd to the 4th of April 2010.

Freeski pro Paddy Graham explains how the Snowpark Rally works and gives you your first mission:
