Stimorol Engadin Snow 2010 Freeride Finals

Under a blue sky and with pretty good snow conditions, the finals of this years Stimorol Engadin snow Freeride competition took place (9/2/2010) on the north face of Mount Corvatsch.

In the freeski category, Sam Smoothy from New Zealand beat Mathieu Imbert from France by only 0.2 points. The women’s freeski competition was won by Pia Widmesser from Germany.

José Caron from Switzerland triumphed in the Snowboard contest – and Raphael Bullet realized a Swiss double-win with his second place. Susan Mol from the US won the women snowboard category.

Repeating his win from 2009 in the telemark section was Joonas Karhumaa, with Kristina Slinninger taking the women’s telemark category.
