The Relentless Energy Drink Freeze Festival is calling out to all enthusiastic skiers to get in touch to be a part of this magnificent event. The UK’s only snow, ski and music festival returns to the iconic Battersea Power Station for 2011 to bring you the ultimate Apres Ski Party of the winter.
The world best athletes across skiing and snowboarding compete on the specially constructed 32 metre high jump complete with 500 tonnes of real snow. Nowhere in the UK will you see this level of riding!
Not only at the world’s best skiers (Jacob Wester, Jossi Wells, Henrik Harlaut, James Woods…) and snowboarders (Marco Grilic, Seppi Smits, Jamie Nicholls….) going to be there but the music line up is also worth checking out with the likes of Groove Armada and The Streets headlining the weekend. Relentless Energy Drink is the Apres Ski party you cannot miss.
We are looking for volunteer crew to make sure the slope is perfect each day. Applicants need to have a reasonable level of skiing, be relatively fit as there is a lot of walking up and down the slope and most of all be up for it, the more you put in the more you get out.
The side slipping shifts will consists of two teams of 15 volunteers working about 5-6 hours each maintaining the slope with both a bit of shovelling and side slipping the landing. Again if you sign up you must be available to work on both Friday 28th and Saturday 29th October.
A weekend festival pass along with food during your working hours will be provided however crew will need to find their own accommodation in London if they don’t already live there.
